Hi, my name is Ben Johns. I am a storyteller and relationship builder.
My main professional enterprises include partnering with philanthropists to direct their investments toward creating a sustainable environment for future generations. Nature, science and education are centrally important for humanity to support itself and the ecosystems that form the foundation of life on earth as we know it.
Also, I write spy novels.
Since my youth, I’ve always devoured fast-paced thrillers with iconic characters such as Jason Bourne and Jack Reacher, and suspenseful mysteries such as Power Down and The Spy Who Came In From The Cold.
My first self-published book, Rogue for Peace, centers on a viral white supremacist prophecy of world domination. It begins when a UCLA undergrad computer programmer Wilder Kole and Russian foreign exchange student Katya Polenko uncover a deadly conspiracy. Suddenly, they find themselves pulled into the path of a renegade Navy SEAL, and other elite forces with hidden agendas, that could ignite World War III.
This is the first of a series of books following Wilder Kole, an unlikely hero who plunges into a world of dark intrigue and global threats to humanity.
I create characters that blend simplicity and complexity, navigating veiled identities, true purpose, and ultimate loyalty. My stories weave interpersonal conflicts and romantic intrigue, always amplifying the thrill of the adventure.
Some of my favorite writers whose characters and careers inspire me include Robert Ludlum, Lee Child, Daniel Silva, Ian Fleming, John Le Carre’, Ben Coes, Frederick Forsyth, and Nathan Goodman.
